School Nursing - How to get Help
If you are a young person at secondary school – Visit your school nurse drop-in clinic to discuss any worries about life, relationships and health.
If you are a parent you can contact the School Health Nurse if there are health related problems – please ask your school for contact details of your school nurse. You could also discuss your concerns with your child’s School who can, with your permission, refer to the School Health Nursing Service.
Messages can be left for the School Health Nurses in School or at the Health Centre where the nurse is based. The School Health Nurse works in partnership with parents, teachers, children and families offering help and support with any emotional, behavioural, medical or physical concerns you may have.
