Consultation On The Future Of Children’s Community Health Services

Bristol Clinical Commissioning Group (Bristol CCG) - NHS commissioners and local authorities in Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire have launched a major new consultation on the future of children’s community health services in the region.

The consultation runs from 3 September and will end on the 25 November 2015.  The feedback received will help to shape the design of services from 2017 onwards. This work follows a comprehensive re-commissioning process for children’s community health services that has involved consultation and engagement with service users and providers from 2014.

Bristol CCG are actively encouraging children and young people, their parents and carers and other professionals involved in their care to respond to the consultation. Your views and insight are highly valued and if you could take five or ten minutes to review the proposals and share your views this would be appreciated.

At the centre of the consultation is an innovative and unique website, one of the most original and user friendly approaches to be used in an NHS consultation.  It features a range of animations, caricatures and different response mechanisms and was designed with the full involvement of children and young people.

Further information and details of how to respond to the consultation are available at
